Hi guys,
Bosch WAS2460 LogiXX 8, first of these i’ve seen, I had a neighbour contact me saying the door would not release, I opened via emergency pull tag down at filter, now on selecting any programme, door locks, pump runs & then F57 comes up beeps but not releasing door at end.
Found drum very hard to turn, whipped off the belt & motor is hard to turn, quick call to an engineer who works locally also, he said they are permanent magnet motor & normally very tight but could throw no light on fault code.Re: Bosch WAS2460 LogiXX F57 error
Cheers Paul, any tests that I should do to check it? Should the motor be hard to turn or should it turn freely?

There is an inverter board listed, part num’ 00701619 @ £115.85 or a complete BLDC listed @ £194.88 part num’ 00679421

The motor is hard to turn if the inverter ‘locks’ up. If you unplug the motor from the inverter , you’ll probably find it’ll rotate freely. I’ve yet to come across a single component failure on these brushless motors but have changed a few inverters for E57 errors. Just a new inverter board should be required to clear your problem.
