Miele w5740, e51 error

Guys got the above Miele that at first come up with drainage fault, customer undid filter and cleared blockage, on pulling out machine stretched the mains lead and it shorted across the suppressor causing fuse to go in plug, little water in the base so I drained and dried it but to no avail still drains for 5 or so seconds then e51, do you think the shorting out has caused anything else? And can you tell me what e51 is please, thanks in advance.
