    Hi all, when you press the start button the drain pump comes on as usual but pulses on and off. If left long enough and it starts to fill the inlet valve also pulses on and off. The green light also fades on and off in sequence to the pulsing…

    Obviously the board on this. Is there an easy fix for these like a capacitor or something? Photo of offending board:

    change large grey cap normally 1.5uF

    its the power supply to the board

    Thanks Dave, just took it out and it’s only reading half it’s value.

    in an AC circuit capacitors act as a resistor

    half the value so double the resistance
