just to recap , machine takes in water , the motor kicks in and the water keeps filling with the wash motor running , fills up over the top of the mushroom shaped flood device and out from the door edge seal all over the floor , i put my hand in and lifted the mushroom device and it pumped the water out , is the water fill controlled by the power board ?

It’s the magnet float under the mesh filter in the plastic tub that needs taking out and cleaning. Be sure and put it back the right way.

Ok removed the little float , cleaned the end of it black gunk on there , and put it back together started it up and it still took in way too much water , I then noticed the front of the dishwasher was a little lower than the back do I twisted the front legs a few turns , still running at this stage although it didn’t leak I still see too much water its up nearly covering the salt cap , any way I let it run for a further 10 mins and had another look inside to see low and behold the level had dropped all good here customer ran a cycle last night no leaks cheers
