Hi we,ve got the above listed oven installed in our house when we bought the house 5 years ago. It has been working all this time with no problems until yesterday when my partner noticed that there were no lights on the display and the cooker would not turn on or heat up. I,ve checked the fuses and none of them have tripped out I,ve also checked that there is power going into the cooker by putting a power tester onto the socket where the power cord goes into the cooker and it shows that there is power going into the cooker but there is no power display where the time is normally displayed. The oven had not been used for at least a day and I,ve tried switching the mains off and on in case it may have reset it but there would appear to be no reason the the cooker not working as it had not been used for a day. Any suggestions? I,ve also checked that the cable has not been eaten through by mice as I have had that in my last house but at least you could smell the dead mouse on that occasion.

    Many thanks

    Peter

    Hi peter

The first thing i would check is the terminal block where the mains cable goes in to the back of the oven. but make sure you have turned the power off first. i have seen this where the wire can burn out and would stop power going to the oven.
