Hi all,
My Lamona HJA 8514 stopped mid cycle. It won’t unlock, and has clothes + some water in it. I tried doing a drain only cycle and the same thing happens.
The machine is flashing start and pre-wash three times, then pause, then three times etc.
I have read elsewhere this might be a draining error (?), but have NO idea where to begin (as in 24 y/o girl with no experience of fixing appliances/checking filters etc.)
Does anyone have the patience to explain what I could try?!

*EDIT* When I try and do a drain cycle, I *can* hear water draining away but then returns to error message.

Sounds like it just isn’t draining, most likely the pump is just blocked.
Generic instructions are here but you will have to remove the wooden plinth or kick plate before you can access the pump filter on that machine if I recall correctly:
