Actually Lawrence there are a number of members that have had numerous attempts to contact made, some with success and others not so.

I would have presumed that every opportunity would be given to renew or indeed time afforded to look into each case individually and then to take a view on the appropriate course. This as opposed to carte blanche knee jerk reaction.

However, I believe that the information has recently been sent to the WTA team for their views on a number of memberships as time allows. Keeping in mind that you guys do this voluntarily as do the admin that collate such information and you have to appreciate that sometimes, these things do take a bit of time to gather all input.

Until admin is instructed by the management team they will not arbitrarily remove any business listing.

I am a bit surprised that you took the time to do this though Martin as, you’re not a WTA member and have nothing whatsoever to do with the WTA so, I fail to see why you have any interest in this at all. I am also curious as to how you came to the conclusion that some businesses have ceased trading some years ago, that would require a considerable effort on your part. Then to post such a thing in a public forum with absolutely no contact with the WTA before you spout off in here to check the validity of your assertion.

That, strikes me as very strange behaviour indeed.

I cannot seem to fathom the motive for such an effort and subsequent action.

It is a moot point though as, any unpaid members or ones that have not responded are likely to be removed soon enough as per Lawrence’s post earlier.

Obviously that was missed, now corrected.

A simple email to the WTA Admin without the cryptic comments could have put that right rather than a post in here. But, so far as I am aware, no contact has been made.
