This sales rep used to work at Qualtex few years back and was one of the nicest sales rep I ever had. He saw me on my way into Connect, he appears to be working on the shopfloor rather than as in sales.
Was surprised to see him there. He was surprised to see me as well.

You can’t blame him. After all traipsing around the country in a Mondeo trying to flog a few dozen pumps and a grill element to grubby blokes in back alley workshops must be challenging. Far better a warm showroom where customers come to you I’m sure.
Just gotta make those end of the month sales targets, that’s all! 😀

There’s no showroom at Connect, just a well ventilated trade counter to experience the outdoor temperature throughout the year. I think this guy works on the picking line or in the loading bay as he was was wearing hi vis jacket.
I don’t recall seeing any grubby men at the recent WTA conference, just smartly dressed engineers. I like to think we have moved on from the old image of back alley workshop with Sunday sport pin ups to hi tech smartly dressed engineer with swanky vans.
