The compressor is constantly working on this fridge/freezer.

It’s freezing up the food in the fridge section…

Have fully defrosted it to double check that there wasn’t ice build up in the back and it’s still doing it.

There doesn’t seem to be a thermostat – but a fridge thermistor?

Looked at the control unit and the thermistor looks to be buried in foam.

The part number for the temp probe is 49003477 – But, I don’t know for sure that this is causing the problem.

Is the probe difficult to replace and is there another more obvious fault that makes the motor continuously work in these models?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks, John

    Hi.
Sounds like a thermistor to me. Not sure if its like some beko machines where you have to cut out the insulation on the back to repair.

Yes, it definitely looks foamed in, but how difficult is it to dig out and where do I start?

    Thanks for any help, John
