ESSO Fuel card via CBS

I thought I would share my experiences on the fuel card via CBS, the application was pretty straight forward but it does takes some chasing up to do and once it is in place, it seems to be working ok.

I think people out there might be curious on how much discount you would get for buying fuel. I was a bit sceptical to start with even if I get a penny off per litre and I am still saving but not as much I would have liked but a penny saved is better than nothing.

I wanted to share the result from that, I bought diesel from Esso, forecourt price of 117.9p per litre. I have the invoice showing that the special price was 114.4p per litre thus I was billed at that price instead of the forecourt price that was 3.5p difference per litre. This is considerably more that I would have got with my Tesco fuel coupons and I don’t have to spend vast amount of money at Tesco to earn it.

I think it is worth it in the end, perhaps more might be encouraged to sign up to it.
