Bosch interlock problems?

WAE28364GB/13.

I fitted a new door interlock (610147) to this machine 11 months ago. at the time the machine would not start.

I have just had to fit another door lock, this time it was jammed shut, I did manage to release it by reaching down and ‘wiggling it about’ no smutty comments please 😀

Obviously I removed the mains plug before doing this so cannot be certain if the lock released after the machine had been isolated or my wiggling had done the trick.

She says that it has been playing up for a few days like this but until yesterday always opened eventually.

I tried the machine with this lock in and it worked a couple of times perfectly but I did notice that it was slightly warm the first time I released it but not as hot as you find with one that has been energised for days. Checked fill levels and pressure switch operation and they appear to be fine.

I know the interlocks on this model are a bit small and flimsy but are there any other reasons for the door to jam?
