Hi, I have an oven cleaning business. I routinely install new bulbs for customers. Before installing them I always make sure the mains power is off.
Yesterday I changed a bulb on a Neff double oven (U1322SOGB/01 FD 8509), it’s approximately 2 years old. When I turned the power back on, set the clock and turned the main oven on, the bulb blew instantly & the RCD tripped. After turning the power back on, the main oven fan, element & thermostat light would not work. After previous problems with Neff ovens & bulb changes I know that on rare occasions bulb changes/ bulbs blowing can cause a major fault with the circuit board. I also carry out repairs on electric ovens, so I pulled the oven out (which was difficult because the power lead was less than a metre long) and tried to find the circuit board to see if there was any noticeable damage. I couldn’t see a circuit board and after researching it online & speaking to Neff today, it seems as though this oven does not have a circuit board. Can anyone tell me if these ovens come with or without a circuit board? If not, which component will be damaged after the bulb change?

    Any help is much appreciated!

also you model is U1322S0GB/01 not U1322SOGB/01

i would check selector switch first. there also seem to be a temp limiter stat part ident 0503 on diagram 5 this might have blown

Hi Dave, thank you for your message, I’ll take a look at the diagram & will check the selector switch.

    Kind regards,
    Jack
