So, both heaters, NTC and TOC have expected resistance values and the cover looks pretty sound. Also the drain tube was clear.

There is some cracking to the back wall near the evaporator, and the tray that the lower heater wraps around was pretty ropey and not sitting quite as low as it could. Could this be to blame, could it possibly be a power board fault or what?

    Cheers, Derek

    Hi

Has it got the modification fuse board fitted at the rear ? Did you separate the heaters before testing them ?

How long before the ice/ frost build up again ?

    Hi Bryan,

Wasn’t aware of the fuse board – what should I be looking out for here? Yes, I did separate the heaters before testing. Don’t know how long to frost build up yet, as only visited last week. I was planning on revisiting soon, to see if the majority of the frost is forming lower down, or if it is uniformly distributed.
