No water from lower arm

    I have a Hotpoint SDD910G Dishwasher. The bottom rota arm is not working but the top arm is working fine. I have cleaned the arm and checked for any blockages. As far as I am able to tell water is not being pumped into the arm and the upper arm appears to be working all the time. I suspect that it must have some kind of valve that would alternate the flow to each arm. Could you clarify and point me in the right direction please.

    Hi.
    Yes there is a valve under the bottom of the machine. you should be able to tip it back and remove the bottom panel to get to it. you may be lucky and something has blocked its movement.
