LG 1289TD front panel removal problem

Hi

I need to replace the door seal/gasket on my LG 1289 TD washing machine.

I have unplugged
Removed the top
Removed dispenser tray
Removed the 2 screws behind the tray and released the 2 clips at the top
Eased the panel forward and inch or so so the circuit board behind is clear of the case and jiggled and pulled the plastic panel without any joy.

I cannot see how the plastic panel is attached, is there a trick to removing this panel or am i missing something, its holding fast as if I have missed a clip or screw somewhere.

Any guidance or help is much appreciated
