ParticipantHi Every one, have’nt done much repairing for a while due to illness.
Family member has problem with dishwasher and wonder if you could help with some advice please?
Bosch SGS 43EO2/GB/45 FD 8401.
He complained it was not finishing cycle?
Reset, start, drain pump comes on and runs, water valve opens then drain pump cuts in, just keeps filling and draining at the same time.
So Far, No water in base of appliance, the pressure switch for the circ pump is mounted by the metering tank, the plenum chamber for the switch is clear, the overfill float is clean and the micro switch checks out, the rod down to the float in the base is fine and not sticking.
At the top l/h side of the metering tank there appears to be a black slime build up, this is in the area of the air break between the pump outlet and the pump supply pipe, I have removed the tank and i am in the process of cleaning it.
Hose to sump is clear, I am pretty sure there is no turbine counter on the water inlet but have not delved deeper at the mo.
Any advice or possible leads would be very welcome
Thanks in advance
Kind Regards

if you cancel the programme does the pump turn off in the end or keep running
if it keep running suspect faulty triac in the timer
