I got this today from a UKW public user who asked me about a Scandinova (Comet own brand) fridge door handle:

Many thanks for your assistance with my little problem, everything is now sorted. I sent an enquiry to the place you suggested and have had an e-mail reply saying the part exists and is on stock. I have just come off the phone with them and the part will be on its way shortly.
Its strange really because Comet started out from around here and the fridge, obviously, was bought from them years ago. I did originally phone the main store here but the, apparently, young man on the end of the phone informed me he could find no record of this appliance and suggested that it was obsolete and maybe I should consider a new one.Shocking, truly shocking
