Was in my friends showroom today and a lady was looking at an American F/f and my friend said he could undercut Currys price by £25. Lady decided to go with Currys because they offered to come out in 12 months and clean it out for free. Sounds like theyre getting a bit desperate for sales and I cant see how that can be cost effective.
Went to an oven yesterday with a blown oven element ,customer mentioned the oven was under a currys care plan and they had only cleaned it two days before ,the standard of clean was appalling ,no better than a half hearted DIY job ,the wife runs an oven cleaning company so I know how it should be done ,oh and I was there because they couldn’t get out for a week :rolls:
It’s a tax issue, some loop hole in the law between care plans and extended warranties, been in place for yrs, let’s say it has financial benefits to DSG.
