    Hi, can anybody help with this American fridge freezer , fault : running ok then sitting there and defrosting ,lights on but nothing else ,switch on off at wall and it will run again for a few hours and then switch off and defrost ,so far I have changed defrost heater ,trip , and sensor in fridge (old heater o/c ) and defrost sensor in freezer ,shows continuity through the freezer heater and trip ok and yesterday changed the pcb ,customer rang this morning to say done the same again overnight ,any help gratefully received Thanks Cras

    Went back today ,and found that when I moved the thermal cut out a bit the heater came on ,wiggled it again and it went off ,dodgy new thermal cut out ,changed for another new one and all ok now ,thanks for the reply R600a ,glad I managed to drop on the fault-in the end
