ParticipantAn integrated fridge freezer fitted by the developer in our flat ten years ago is not exactly the same size as those generally available, but close, and the space is probably adequate for several. But installers say replacements must be identical in size. However, does any company offer a service of visiting to inspect and help to choose a current model which will fit – ordering on-line and discovering it does not quite fit after delivery is not so good!

Hi
I may be able to help with an enquiry as I doubt very much you will get many if any takers to come round and advise.
What is the make and model of the current appliance?

Hi
Caple 196/54 is a 70:30 split appliance.
All integrated fridge freezers are the same height and width it’s only the door split that differs. Most suppliers offer your size so choice should not be a problem. There are two ways of fixing the timber doors to the appliance one is by fixed hinge or the most popular way is by sliders which way is yours?

Thanks, Don.
They are sliders.
My concern was that the Caple measures 54cm wide and some I have looked at (e.g. a Bosch) are 55.6cm. The space in the housing is 56.5cm, but the extra 2.5cm is taken up by fixings for the doors.

Hi
Which model number are you looking at?

Sorry for slow reply. I am not sure where to find the Model number beyond the 196/54 on the label. It also says “Classe SN” Nothing else seems to indicate anything more useful.

It was KIS86AF30G
Height and depth are not a problem.

Hi
Yes the machine will fit, however that model is 60:40 split according to Bosch info.
Bosch product advice line is 0344 892 8979 if you want to check to make sure.
