Hi there,
Noob here, i suddenly have an F3 error code on my Hotpoint Ultima FDUD4411. I opened up the dishwasher and there was about an inch of water still left in the dishwasher. I have checked the hose from the dishwasher that is connected under the sink, no kinks of blockages that i can see, i checked the filter in the dishwasher but nothing. i checked the actual sink and there was a blockage of fat and grease so i emptied it and then I emptied the water in the dishwasher by hand and then put a cycle on to see if it would now work BUT, i now get a loud humming noise and no water comes into the dishwasher, it hums and then the error message appears again.

Bit of a update. Turned on the machine this morning and it started filling. But at the end when it gets rid of the water the cycle stopped 4 mins till th E end with the same error a f3. As well as that it is now making a horrible sound I can only describe as the noise it makes when there is some electrical short circuit. Like a buzzing, tinkling, sound….

another update. i looked again and found another blockage on another hose under the sink and viola…
All sorted!! thank god, was about to purchase another from AO.com and the mrs was eyeing up a siemens with 5 year part and labour!
