We have had one of these appliances for 4 years. Engineer arrived from Miele touched the back of the fridge and said it was not repairable.

Had someone else out to look at it who found a hole in the back of the pipework as it left the compressor. He fixed it, pressure tested it and gassed it up turned it on and it seemed to start working again.

The fridge was getting coldish…it’s been on for about four hours at the moment.

My concern is two parts, the freezer doesn’t seem to be getting any colder than it was, just hovering above zero and it is still flashing the temperature and alarm lights (but the alarm isn’t sounding).

Secondly the back for the fridge where the engineer pushed on the material is uneven. However the commercial engineer that visited said it shouldn’t matter it’s just the pipes have come unstuck from the insulation that they filled it with. To give credit it does sound like this when you push you hear a stick unstick sound.

I did take the frost free panel off the rear of the freezer compartment to check everything wasn’t frozen up, it had a little amount of excess ice on the top part of the system but I have removed that. I can’t hear the fan on the freezer either but nothing is blocking it.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?
