Officially I am retired and living in Hungary but I’m still willing to help out other expats with their appliances. In this case I’m guessing choked pressure vessel and I was going to suggest they check this themselves before I arrange an appointment and do the hour + drive to their place. Trouble is, I can’t remember now if the pressure vessel is on the front, back or elsewhere on LG machines. This is what they said in their email:
“We have a LG front loader 5 years old.
We have found that when its on a wash cycle it gets to spin and then turns itself off. Does not go to the spin cycle, and the prewash and crease care lamps blink.
However, when we put the spin on without clothes it spins ok.
The manual says the water level sensor has malfunctioned.”
