Hi,
can anyone advise me on how to stop the dispenser leaking on customers hopoint wml540 .
Have cleaned out dispenser draw and housing , have turned water pressure down and lowered front feet down to tilt machine back a bit, but still leaking , have checked dispenser hose for blockages down tub but nothing found. Seems to leak on rinse when water is taken into dispenser, where front fascia panel meets dispenser body housing. Spent hours in customers house trying to sort this one out . new dispenser, bottom , top , draw ?????? Thanks in advance Jon.

If it leaks on the final rinse, a new drawer should sort – I’ve fitted many. The current drawers have a modified profile under the conditioner compartment incorporating a drip guide.

As mentioned above, a long standing design fault on these, new dispenser assembly was the original cure but full unit is not usually supplied for every model, there are several variants so full serial number and commercial code needed to ID correct parts.

I’ve found just fitting the updated rotary drawer, C00281253, usually does the trick. There have been at least two previous designs to the drawer, as far as I know all superceded by this one.
The odd customer has expressed some doubt when I’ve told them a new drawer will sort the leak, so I point out the subtle design difference between old and new, and I have had no recalls.
Looking into it, there is a later rotary drawer, C00283629, for later dispenser variants, which doesn’t seem to be backwards compatible, but I haven’t come across any of them leaking in the same way.
