    Hi

    The condenser fan stopped working on my whirlpool fridge freezer, purchased new motor
    but wiring different
    old one
    two reds, two white
    new one
    two blacks, one earth wire
    is it just a case of fitting two reds to one black and two whites to the other black and earth wire
    to earthing point on chassie.

    Would appreciate any help

    You may have been supplied with an incorrect motor.

    It sounds like you have received an evaporator motor by mistake.

    To give any more help we would require the model number and a picture of the existing motor and the motor you have been supplied.

    I would check with the supplier to see if you have been sent the correct part.

    Thanks for getting back checked and it is the correct motor.
    Whirlpool changed the wiring on the motors.
