Wonky cooker

I have just bought an electric Kenwood double oven model CKB300 with stainless steel trim. The top oven door is out of line with the rest of the oven. Not apparent when it was installed by my own fitter as the front of the oven was thickly masked in protective tape. The oven doors can be removed but I cannot see how they could be adjusted from left to right to correct the fault. Currys are replacing the oven but are not prepared to remove or reinstall so I shall be about £50 out of pocket, paying a fitter to do the job again. Can these doors be adjusted or maybe the cooker was dropped in the warehouse? My sale bargain is turning into a white elephant!

    Help please,

    Vicki 🙁

There is no adjustment I’m afaraid.

This is a case of “unpack and inspect prior to installation”.

Will the installer not give you some kind of concession on this as he really should have spotted it, it’s part of the job 😉

    Dave.
