    Hi,
My Indesit IWC6125s stopped working and the door light was flashing. When i looked at the door lock the connector was burned out and the interlock was U/S. I’ve replaced the interlock and connected using spade connectors as i couldn’t get a new connector on its own. When i try to use it now it seems that when it goes to drain all the lights start to flash. I’ve had the drain pump off and watched it operate when selected so its spinning and not blocked. The motor on the machine works as it rotates and spins. The inlet valves work as water gets in the machine. I assumed the interlock burning out was due to the small heater failing inside as it was in three pieces inside but now i’m thinking something else may be wrong. I know the loom for the door and the drain pump are connected into the control box via the same connector but are separate wires. I’ve con checked the cables from end to end and there is continuity in each one. I saw a video on you tube of testing the pump and it said con check the two terminals of the pump and there should be continuity but there wasn’t on mine however as i said before i have physically watched the impeller of the pump spin round. Can any one help.

The interlock connections fail because Indesit use very weak, cheap connectors, it may have damaged the main pcb. When you say ‘ALL’ the lights flash is it every single light or is there a horizontal row of lights flashing and another set of vertical lights on steady?

Hi, Its only the top row of lights. The vertical ones don’t flash at all.My thoughts were the main control board as I’ve tested every else and it all seems to physically work or when i test with a multimeter its all as it should be

When the horizontal lights flash some of the right hand vertical lights will be on steady, those give the error code.

Count the numbers of the vertical lights from BOTTOM to TOP, only the bottom five lights are used for error codes.
