    Hi, I have a zanussi zcm7902xn oven which appears to have a dead timer.
    The display is blank and the oven/light is all dead.
    The grill top oven all works.
    I haven’t taken the oven apart yet, but if the timer is dead can I remove it from the circuit? As it has played up for ages and is not used!

    Quick update, removed supply from timer and connected direct to oven knob. All seems to be working fine now, except timer/clock of course!
