    Bosch Classixx 1400 Express serial WAE28162GB/05

    The machine is taking a long time to complete a wash cycle. Following advice on the internet I found the water was not heating. I checked the heating element which shows 25 ohms which I would think is about right, turning on the power and starting 90 degree washing cycle (yes, I was very careful to ensure I could not get an electric shock) I found that there is no power to the heating element.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    There’s either a break in the leads between the control unit and element OR (more likely) the heater relay on the control unit PCB has failed.
