    Hi Guys

    Can anyone explain what the little white plastic box with some kind of black material inside is?? It comes from the mains lead inlet It keeps tripping the electric and is all burned with black deposits around it?

    Cheers for any info

    hi its a bosch not sure of model ive since found out its the capacitor/surpressor block thats burnt out…..wierd thing is it still works without it plugged in….is it safe to do so?

    It’s safe but illegal, that is an interference suppressor which is required by law to stop radio and TV interference.

    not expensive, most common Bosch one is HERE
