    I think it is quite easy to get hold of a bearing kit for this machine, but are they easy to change.

    Your assistance with changing the heating element was excellent.

    The bearing change on this machine for an inexperienced person is not ahappy thought and not one that I would recommend,This job is an engineer job.

    Benny,
    Bear in mind that you have a 5 year warranty on the drum assembly. Pay Hotpoint the £90 – you will not be able to buy everything you need to do the job for that money.
