Samsung fridge freezer.

I have a Samsung fridge freezer which is 13 years old but has worked throughout til now. The problem is that when it reaches the freezer temp set it cuts out but keeps the temps indicated even though it is not working. When switched off and then on again it goes to the increased temp reading and starts up again. The temp drops as it cools down again. When you check the faults menu it sometimes shows a steady light which relates to a cooling fan fault but it says it should be flashing according to the Samsung website. This does not appear straight away but after about 5 minutes. I have circuit checked the components mentioned in relation to a similar problem on the forum but all show a circuit when you use a circuit tester.( heater, thermal fuse etc) Checked the fridge side as well. With prices as they are I would rather resurrect this one.
