Hi – new user here and I’m hoping one of you may be able to help.

The suppressor in my washing machine blew up yesterday (and I mean literally exploded – its quite impressive the mess its made!)

I’m having problems finding a replacement. The model is a Candy Aquaviva 1300 (AQW 130). The old suppressor casing has the model ‘D.E.M FLCR630501’ printed on it which is comprised of a 0.47uF and two 10nF capacitors. I’ve seen plenty of suppressors (including the FLCR630501F) with 1uF and 27nF capacitors instead – Could I just use one of them? I assume since the capacitance is higher, it would simply smooth the supply more.

One of the three listed HERE will be fine.
