    Hi All,

    My Neff induction hob is having problems when cooking on one of rings. All starts OK but not long after the pan has started to get hot the hob suddenly acts as if there is no pan on that ring and switches it off (even though the pan has not been moved). From that point on, until it is cool, the ring refuses to believe there is pan in place even when there is one.
    Unfortunately as we inherited the appliance when we ,moved into the house we have no idea how old it is.
    Any suggestions as to the cause of the problem would be greatly appreciated.

    PS pans are definitely induction friendly
