Proline WQP8-9249G – Not Draining

Hi,

My mother’s dishwasher isn’t draining. Makes all the right noises but when it get to what we assume is the drain sequence it makes a noise, not quite grinding but not good.

Ice had it apart and couldn’t identify any blockages. I assumed it might be the drain pump and have taken this off the machine.

Is there anyway to test if the pump is working ok or if I’m on the right track? The pump moves freely off the machine. It had a part No. of PSB-01

I have a multimeter, although pretty clueless about how to use this.
