Was Sky Maintenance Services who, if memory serves, has featured here or in the WTA forum before. Can’t recall if it was good or bad but something makes me think not brilliant.
But it’s Bournemouth and I’m sure (har har) that was associated with some dodgy thing or another.

One national work provider has put them on stop and asked it’s agents not to accept any direct work due to non payment.
Sky maintenance. Weren’t they the ones tied up in some legal battle last year via another company?July 29, 2015 at 8:30 am #429230admin

Just received this reply after sending the job back.
“Sorry to hear that you are unwilling to work with us.
However please allow me to clear any mis-information that you have been given pertaining to this.
We previously appointed engineers via a particular service network – however it was brought to my attention that Key Performance Indicators – such as overall claims cost, Beyond Economical Repair rate increasing substantially as well as other contributing factors, my executive team have raised this dispute accordingly with the network concerned.
To add that although there is currently an ongoing dispute with regards to payment, I have always ensured that any local engineer sourced from MY office and that MY team have dedicated time and effort into striking up a business relationship with are always paid and in 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of cases these payments are made within 5-7 working days, upon receipt of an invoice.”

Amazingly, I had a call from I’m sure this week asking if we could go and do a repair for them. I told them that I would need paying as and when the job is completed and they agreed. I was still a bit sceptical, but I arrived at the property, called them with a diagnosis and what the charges would be and they paid there and then by credit card.
So at the moment I cannot fault them and hopefully they’ll pass me through a bit more work. -
