Hello. Anyone know the answer to this question. This machine has a circulating pump which has jammed and gets hot but has not shorted itself so hasn`t blown the main board ( which is a relief in itself!) In that state does the none movement of circ water affect the printed circuit board and make the machine do strangely weirdy things like freeze the programme even though the door remains locked the drum only goes round sometimes ( induction motor , the count down still works. If the circ pump wires are disconnected does this adversely affect the running of the pcb. I know the obvious answer is to sort out the circ pump and then see what happens but I just want your thoughts first and there`s a reason why.

Sussed it!! Answer to my little question was no it didn`t affect the machine electrically by having the circ pump disconnected. Update: I replaced the circ pump. The reason why I was asking was because there was another problem too which was tricky to prove until I looked- when on 60 degrees wash and pumping out the o/let hose was going soft due to the heat and kinking so the water wouldn`t pump out but when it cooled down or had rinse water going through it the kink became less of a kink and so it worked! Nice new hose fixed that one. Pretty obvious except it wasn`t because the hose looked fairly good when the machine was pulled out but wasn`t when pushed back in.
