Nasty hotpoint problem which I’ve had before but cannot remember solution.
Customer drained machine manually using filter.
Fitted new outlet pump.
Now the pressure switch system is confused over water levels and machine will not fill.
What is the method for resetting the system?

Unfortunately this method does not work when the machine has been switched off when the water was manually drained.
Any further ideas would be useful.

From what I have heard from forum member johnnyj who is a franchise engineer there are times when reprogramming the module is the only option.

Hi
Had one a couple of years ago that refused to fill after clearing pump. Spoke to Hotpoint and they advised to start it off on wash program and leave it as it could take up to 1 hour to start filling. I did this with mine and returned after about 40mins to find the water level approaching soap draw. switched off, drained machine and it worked ok from then. may be worth a try.
