    Hi,
    Can anybody help please.
    My washing machine trips the main supply.
    As soon as it is switched on the trip on the fusebox – rated at 30mA trips out. I have had the washing machine for 15 years and has worked perfectly until now.
    I have tried other trips and the same happens, so i am sure it is the washing machine causing the issue.
    Any ideas?

    until someone looks at it you cant be sure whats causing this

    my first guess would be the heater or the motor but it may not be

    all we know for certain is the unit has an earth fault which could be caused by a number of things

    Dave is correct, the only way is to diagnose logically to find out what’s causing the issue but this may help…
