Bosch drum lifters

    A question from a friend, a retired Hoover engineer about his sons washer.

    He has a WAB28062GB/03 with two drum lifters adrift.

    It looks like a sealed drum on the Bosch web site but the lifters are shown separately.

    How easy/hard is it to replace the lifters on this model?

    DOH, He did give me WAB but I wrote it down as WEB then checked back with him to make sure what it was. :boops:

    Dunno how they fit Jim but judging by the attached photo of one its my guess it is another slide and clip fit……

    Hmmm, never had to change lifters on any Bosch machine before, those holes that look as though they are for fixing screws look a bit worrying. ❓

    Your friend perhaps could answer that. If screws were used to fix them in, the old ones will be threaded. Through the sump hose aperture wouldn’t allow access to both screws though. No, I figure they just clip in. Cr&p machine from Bosch though they are. Using screws would be too costly for them. 😉
