    Hi.

    I’m currently overhauling my Hoover Logic Washing machine and want to renew the suspension.

    I have a new anti twist kit. I am unable to remove the suspension rods. I’m using the correct size of spanner for the nut at the tub mounting and trying to grip the rod with mole grips – but the rod will just not loosen. WD40 used and had several attempts but no joy.

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Well Mike, molegrips and spanner are the only way short of hacksawing the rod off that is.

    Yep decent mole grips and plenty of weetabix
