    Have this miele washing machine showing f53. Dont generally touch miele. Does anyone have motor pin layout for testing tacho in situ on endplate. Also is this a front off job to get at motor.

    Had a look at this one today. Checked tacho. Got a reading of approx 2v on tacho pins.Checked brushes, loom, motor to board,cleaned connections,still f53.Machine about three and a half years old and in holiday apt.Machine drains and fills and then faults after a couple of rotations in wash cycle.

    Motor tacho fault?
    Seem to remember having this myself.
    All is accessible from the front, no need to take the motor out, just remove motor cover and the brush/tacho assembly can be unbolted and carefully removed.
