    HI,
I have a Siemens SF64A632GB/21 (why can’t they make these model numbers simpler!) dishwasher and it is not heating the water and the cycle runs for an extended time. I’ve searched the forum and can’t find anything like my symptoms suggest…

    Heater is good (resistance 22ohm)
Thermostat has been replaced (old one tested and found to be OK, 17ohm with hot water, 43ohm with cold water)
Heater level switch is good (continuity tested when full / empty)
Wiring from door PCB to heater is good, as is return to power switch.

I’m thinking there could be some other failed sensor that interlocks the heater – or a fault with the control PCB?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Dry solder joint on PCB.

Magic, thanks for the advice. I eventually figured out how to detatch the PBC from the front panel and it was indeed a blown solder joint on the PCB. For the sake of £1.98 I’ve replaced the relay anyway and its now working.

    Thanks for the help,
    Chris
