    Hi I accidentally pulled the connection off the control panel which connects the control button panel to the board.when I reconnected it wont let me select a programme just says select programme.when I try to select a programe it wont do anything. is it now damaged thanks in advance.

    Do you mean the flat, plastic, flexible circuit that plugs into the console pcb?
    A very delicate piece of equipment that you may have damaged. Did you refit it the right way round, it will fit both ways but the thin plastic strip should come upwards from the connector, not down.

    Sadly this part has been totally obsolete for many years now. 🙁

    Hi yes the flexible tape like with copper strips inside.There is a black connector at the end which connects to pcb 14 pins.it dropped off when I was taking front panel off machine to clear pressure switch hose. a number of terminals got pulled out off plastic connector so I resoldered them ,connected it back up display says select programme but it wont select

    Sadly you may have wrecked it, looks like new washer time.
