    I have called out to the above freezer and fount that is cooling (was @ -12 when i arrived) but all the lights are flashing together.

    When i removed the evap cover i found that it was in the defrost cycle (heater warm).

    Do these units have an emergency over ride if a thermistor fails, if so any ideas witch may be at fault before i return to test or is there anything else i need to be looking for.

    also got another Hotpoint ff7190aep fridge freezer flashing lights again. the freezer is cook but the fridge is warm. i haven’t called out to this but wondered if this was an error code or if it was just indicating a fault.
