Hello. Just purchased the Montpellier MAB2030R, absolutely love it. I notice that the side panels are rather warm when the compressor is in operation, is this normal with this model or should I be concerned. My old fridge freezer of 25 years did not present warm exterior when cooling system was running. Thank you in anticipation.

In order to extract heat from the interior a degree of warmth to the exterior will be evident. I see no reason for alarm at this point. How long have you had the unit anyway?

hello Martin. Thank you for responding.
I have the fridge freezer a week now. There is no obstruction around the unit so there is plenty ventilation.
    Kind Regards

It’ll be the anti-condensate line that you will be noticing that prevents the formation of condensation around the doors. As Martin says, perfectly normal.

    K.
