ParticipantHi Gents
I have the above integrated washer-dryer that was dead. It hadn’t tripped and there was power to the main module. I earth tested the motor and wash and dry elements, all ok. I ordered a module (part no 97391460 60 01-01/9) that is pre-configured. I fitted the module and now I get a random lcd display on some programmes and led option lights on some programmes. The machine is, however, unusable. I have contacted Electrolux but their technical department won’t talk to me other than to confirm I do have the correct module and it is configured. I’m hoping that it is a faulty module but don’t want to order a second one and find I still have the same fault. I do little work on Electrolux so would very much appreciate any ideas or help you gents could give.
Thanks Jason

Hi Bazza500
Thanks for spotting that! I was in rush yesterday when I posted. I haven’t got my job card with me at the moment but I think I’ve missed off as didgit after the 00. I’ll repost the number as soon as I can.
In the meantime, have you got any ideas???
Thanks Jason

I think Jason means 914606001 01. How do I know? Got the same issue (ie machine dead-feed to pcb) on one myself yesterday and just looked up the part number and its the same. Now getting worried myself!
I have had a incorrectly configured dishwasher pcb from Electrolux in the past… they sent another foc in the end. (I am an account holder) and although Electrolux are pretty good at providing tech info such as manuals and stuff, they will not answer any tech queries.August 21, 2015 at 4:32 pm #429744bazza500

Mark have you checked the dryer element insulation? If it’s low it gives these symptoms.
Can’t say I’ve ever had one giving random lights. Have you tried putting it into diagnostic mode?

Bazza500 is right, dryer elements go down to earth on these, you’ll usually get ed4 error code.

Morning Gents
Thank you for the replies, sorry I was unable to log on over the weekend.
Eastlmark. Thanks, that is the correct product number. I’ve had two previous AEG branded integrated washer dryer with same fault, both were repaired with new modules so I hope yours goes the same!
Bazza500 and Bluephill. Dryer elements definitely ok and I have unplugged them and tried machine and get identical error. Not sure how to put this machine into diagnostic mode? But not sure even if I could it would help as the LCD display just has random sections lit. Also as I rotate the programme selector switch I either get no indication on, just the start button lit red or the random LCD display. Very strange and certainly looks like a faulty module. This machine does have a second much smaller dryer module, could this have any affect on the new module? Not ever had one of those fail before but I don’t do that many Electrolux machines!
I guess I’ll have to order a second new module and keep my fingers very firmly crossed unless anyone has any other idea??
Thanks again for your help
Jason

Well, after an eyes shut moment when switching on…. it worked!
Did have a very close inspection of the old board before powering up just to make sure mind.
Chances of getting Electrolux to own up to a faulty pcb are slim I would guess. Funny thing is the new pcb is sealed in a packet with a label stating “sensible components inside- no return once opened” Best of luck with it.October 9, 2015 at 6:54 am #429749jason1970

Hi eastlmark and others
Sorry, forgot to update this one!
It WAS a faulty module, and I did get a refund so lucky on both counts!
Since this job I’ve had two more electrolux machines with the same fault. This year I have replaced FIVE modules! All on integrated washer dryers, there must be a massive problem with them!
Thanks again for the comments
Best wishes
Jason
