The old boy got a sheet through yesterday from an agency canvassing for engineers on behalf of JLA a commercial appliance repairer. Looks like a nationwide thing to me.

I am a JLA dealer for sales and source most of my commercial equipment from them ,We get a better price for a spares only warranty
I was talking to their service dept the other day about a repair & they offered me a job!
I know of a Servis engineer they poached but the areas there engineers cover are quite extensive ,But they are having major problems training up gas engineers due to the tightening of the CORGI criteria ,On the whole they are quite a good companyLawrence

Not if they’re poaching engineers from Independants 😉
So, the Corgi problem is starting to really show itself.
Complacency among some of the WP’s has frankly astonished me on this issue, bury your head in the sand approach and “we’ll cross that bridge when it comes”. Wakey wakey, it’s happening right now !
