Hi, I’m hoping someone can help me with this as I’m stumped!

My Miele WT945 washer/dryer has started slowly filling with water when turned off. Everything else seems to work fine – it’s not overfilling during a wash or anything.

I assumed the triple inlet valve was at fault, so I’ve replaced it – but the problem is still happening! So at the moment I’m turning the water supply off after each wash.

There’s no evidence of water dripping in through the detergent tray, and I don’t think it’s backfilling – the drain hose does feed into the sink waste but with the water supply off there’s no sign of water in the machine even after 2-3 days using the sink and dishwasher normally (which also feeds into the sink waste).

Is there some other way it could be filling, e.g. through the drying system (the machine also has a double inlet valve, which I assume is for the drying function)?

    Any help gratefully received!

    Karl

Have you got really low water pressure?

Hi – no, the water pressure is good (the supply is tee’d directly off the cold mains) and the machine fills at a good rate when in use…
