    Hello. My elderly mother has moved into a retirement flat & inherited this machine which seems to be working fine but after each wash she says she has to wait 2/3 hours (yes…hours!) before she can open the door!! Has anyone encountered a similar problem pls? or heard of this before? It is causing some stress for her. I’m keen to avoid the expense of calling out an engineer. Servis have told me “they do not cover her area” !!! Very helpful….Can anyone out there help please?

    The ‘door interlock’ device will be at fault and need replacing.

    Shouldn’t cost much to put a new lock on.
